HE IS THE FIRST EYE SURGEON IN THE WORLD TO PERFORM AND DOCUMENT CATARACT SURGERY THROUGH SUB 1MM INCISION IN AUG 2003.
HE IS A PIONEER IN ULTRA SMALL MICRO INCISION CATARACT SURGERY.
HE HAS INNOVATED A NEW TECHNIQUE OF SUB 1MM CATARCT SURGERY KNOWN AS “CUT SLEEVE PHAKONIT” published in the front page of OCULAR SURGERY NEWS USA AND ASIA PACIFIC editions 2003.
He has invented the “PRAKASH TURBO CHOPPER” for performing the sub 1mm cataract surgery.
He has performed live surgeries at various eye hospitals Internationally and in INDIA imparting knowledge of cataract surgery to other fellow eye specialists at following places
